Overview:
The Department of Pathology provides comprehensive diagnostic services with an emphasis on accuracy, precision, and prompt reporting to the patients thereby helping and guiding the clinicians in proper patient management. The Department is a wide array of state-of-the-art laboratory facilities that help support the academic’s clinical and research missions. All the Labs are most modernized and well-equipped with skilled personnel. The labs are all NABL accredited which puts them on a higher platform with regard to quality. The diagnostic sub-specialties within this Department include Histopathology, Cytopathology, Hematology, Immunopathology and Clinical Pathology, Immunopathology Hematology, Experimental Pathology. The Pathology Department is one of the academic departments of the College involved in connecting the Pre-clinical stage with the clinical stage through teaching courses that enable the students to identify the causes of diseases and how to diagnose them.

- The Hematology and Clinical Pathology services include complete hemogram, hemiparasite detection, ESR, bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, reticulocyte count, basic coagulation workup, urine routine, and microscopic examination and fluid cell counts.
