Dr. Kh. Palin, MBBS MS MCh FICS FAIMS, the moving spirit of Shija Hospitals & Research Institute, Imphal, is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon devoting himself for the rapid advancement of medical sciences in North-East India in general and Manipur in particular with the vision of creating“Manipur a Healthcare Hub of South East asia”. In his feat of excellence, a team under him has also achieved Guiness Record for excising the largest neck tumour  in the world  weighing 1.2 kg (2 lb 9 oz) which is 40% of total body weight from a 12 days baby boy, thereby bringing in the State of Manipur and Shija Hospitals in particular to the picture of the world.
He is also a recipient of NE TV Award for People’s Choice in the field of Business, 2005
also the “North East Excellence Award” for Enterpreneur for  2009 by ICC(Indian Chamber of Commerce ).
